Naples is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Naples peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The botanical garden itself is absolutely 5 stars. It is beautiful, well maintained, and full of incredible wildlife. We also enjoyed the food at the Fogg Café and the selection at the gift shop. However, I do have a concern about our experience with a worker at the gift shop. I believe her name was Jacque. My daughter had developed large blisters from walking the gardens, so I asked Jacque if we could have two Band-Aids from the first aid kit. She directed us to a large pack of floral Band-Aids for sale. I explained that I only needed two Band-Aids for my 12-year-old daughter. She told us there was no first aid kit and that our only option was to purchase the Band-Aids. When I asked if there really wasn’t a first aid kit, she confirmed there was not. I was speechless. Thankfully, another staff member noticed the interaction and instructed Jacque to retrieve a couple of Band-Aids from the first aid kit in the back of the store. Jacque then replied, “If they need something from the first aid kit, I should call 911.” Her tone and apparent sarcasm shocked me. Having worked in customer service for many years, I would never have treated guests that way. It is also standard for busi

A True Piece of Paradise: A Naples Must-Visit I can honestly say this is my favorite place in all of Naples, Florida. Walking through here feels like stepping into a private, lush piece of paradise that you won’t find anywhere else. The sheer variety of plant species is absolutely mind-blowing—I couldn’t believe the diversity they have on display. What really elevates the experience is how well-maintained everything is; the grounds are incredibly clean, beautifully organized, and managed to such a high standard. It is, without a doubt, a top-notch destination. If you are looking for a peaceful escape or a stunning place to explore, this is a local treasure you cannot miss! Shout to to the garden for allowing free admission on Juneteenth. Thank you.

Stunning place! I loved my visit there (solo) and explored all of the gardens. My favorite was the Asia Garden - gorgeous statues! A ton of great photo op spots, friendly staff and they even had a live steel pan musician there! It was a really hot day but there are a ton of spots in the shade where you can cool down. Saw plants and trees that I haven't seen anywhere else. They have a paved walking path along the lake as well. Highly recommend a visit here.

A Gorgeous Peaceful Garden We are fairly new to southwest Florida and we’re trying get out and see more of what’s here. As luck would have it, we heard about this Botanical Garden and how they have days when entry is free, for two people, if you have a library card. My wife has a card and we went for a visit. The garden itself is set off in a somewhat rural part of Naples, but just minutes from busy Naples. Plenty of free parking and easy drop off/pick up of those with mobility issues. We were pleasantly surprised to see that they rented powered scooters for $14 and it made for a much better visit for my wife. Most of the paths are concrete or paved, a few with sand or gravel. It was an extremely hot day on our visit, but the tall trees, arbors and buildings provided shade and places to sit and relax. There are so many flowers and plants to see. There’s a babbling brook, a lake, a lily pond, a cactus garden, a lotus center, so much. There are names tags by almost every plant. The magic of cell phones and Google Lens provides quick access to information on any plant. We were looking for ideas for our own garden and we got all we needed here. It’s not a huge garden, but very relaxing

I took my 89 year old mother there for her Bday and we took a tour of the broader areas with different habitats and some research going on, then walked the gardens. We wanted to see all the gardens so when mom got too tired we went for a free wheelchair. ( There were also electric scooters for a fee).We all have been big gardeners but there were plants and trees I had never seen before. We also had lunch at their cafe which we all enjoyed along with an interesting gift shop. There was lots of staff and good upkeep. I wish it were more affordable just to come hang out and walk or sit in the beauty and serenity.
